
MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area near Aurora on Friday intensified into a tropical depression named "Isang," according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). In its 11 a.m. bulletin on Friday, Pagasa said "Isang" made landfall over Casiguran, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.
